Privacy Notice
How the Vertali Diagnostic Log Intake service handles information.
📷 You control it
Nothing is collected unless you run the collector and share the link yourself.
🔑 Link-scoped
A submission is only readable by someone who has its exact, unique link.
🛡 Diagnostic only
The collector gathers device and system details for troubleshooting, not personal files.
⚠ Removable
You can ask for a submission to be deleted at any time using its link.
1.What we collect
The service receives diagnostic information that a user chooses to send after running the Vertali support collector. It is not gathered automatically and does not run on its own. A submission is created only when the collector is run and its resulting link is used to upload the package.
2.Specifically collected
The collector gathers details that help support diagnose a device, including:
- System information — operating system, version, manufacturer and model.
- Hardware — processor, memory, and graphics details.
- Configuration and logs — system and application logs, settings, and event records relevant to troubleshooting.
- Metadata — a reference name for the device, the date and time of collection, and the network address the upload came from (used only for abuse prevention).
The collector is not designed to capture the contents of personal files, saved passwords, or payment details. Please avoid including such information when sending a submission.
3.How the information is used
Submissions are used only to:
- troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for the person or team who requested the submission;
- understand device configuration and behaviour relevant to a support case;
- maintain the security and integrity of the service.
Information is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to support.
4.Storage and protection
Uploaded packages are stored and extracted for review. Access is restricted to authorised support staff through the internal console. Submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and are not publicly indexed. The unique link acts as the access credential, so it should be shared only with the person providing support.
5.Who can access a submission
A submission can be opened by anyone who holds its exact unique link, and by authorised Vertali support staff through the internal console. We recommend sharing the link only with the person or team assisting you. Vertali is not responsible for a submission being viewed by another party because its link was shared more widely than intended.
6.Retention and removal
Submissions are kept only as long as needed to provide support, or until removed by authorised staff or by the person who submitted them. To request removal, contact us and include the submission link so we can locate it. We may retain limited records where required to prevent abuse or to meet legal obligations.
7.Contact
Questions about this notice, a submission, or a removal request can be directed to Vertali support. Include the submission link so we can help quickly.
