Terms of Use

Terms of Use

The terms that apply when you access or use the Vertali Diagnostic Log Intake service.

Effective date: 27 July 2026 · Last updated: 27 July 2026 · Service operated by Vertali Group.

Summary: This service receives diagnostic packages that a user chooses to send after running the Vertali support collector. By using the service you agree to these terms. Each submission is opened only with its unique link, so share that link only with the person or team providing support.

🔑 Your link is the key

Anyone with the exact submission link can open it. Share it only with the person helping you.

🛠 Use it for support

Submit diagnostics only when requested by, or in coordination with, Vertali support.

Provided as-is

The service is offered without warranties, and availability may change to prevent abuse.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for what you submit and for who you share the link with.

1.Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Vertali Group ("Vertali", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Diagnostic Log Intake service, including the website at tools.vertali.net, the collector application, and any related features (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy notice. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not access or use the Service.

2.Definitions

"Collector"
the Vertali support application a user runs on a device to gather diagnostic information.
"Submission"
a diagnostic package uploaded through the Collector or the web upload feature, together with its metadata.
"Submission Link"
the unique URL generated for each Submission that allows it to be viewed.
"User"
any person who accesses or uses the Service, including someone who runs the Collector or opens a Submission Link.
"Authorised Staff"
personnel of Vertali (or its partners acting on its behalf) permitted to access Submissions through the internal console.

3.Eligibility and authority

You may use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. The Service is intended for use by individuals who have been invited or authorised by Vertali support to submit diagnostics.

4.Permitted use

You may use the Service:

  • to run the Collector and submit diagnostic information when requested by, or in coordination with, Vertali support;
  • to open a Submission Link that has been shared with you for the purpose of providing or receiving support;
  • to communicate with Vertali about a Submission using the details in Section 20.

5.Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • access, or attempt to access, Submissions you are not authorised to view;
  • attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limits, or security controls, including the upload token;
  • upload material you are not permitted to share, or that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, or harmful;
  • use the Service for any unlawful, deceptive, or abusive purpose, or to disrupt or overload the Service;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, or automate the Service except through interfaces we expressly provide;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.

6.Submissions and links

Each Submission is identified by a randomly generated Submission Link. Anyone who possesses the exact Submission Link can open the Submission. You are responsible for deciding who you share the link with. Vertali is not responsible for a Submission being viewed by another party because its link was shared more widely than intended. You should treat a Submission Link like a credential.

7.Content of submissions

You are solely responsible for the information contained in any Submission you send, and for ensuring you have the right to share it. Do not include passwords, payment card details, or the contents of personal files unless they are genuinely required for support and you are permitted to share them. The Collector is not designed to capture such information, but you remain responsible for what you submit.

8.How submissions are processed

When a Submission is received, the Service:

  • stores the uploaded package and extracts its contents for review;
  • records a reference name for the source device, the date and time, and the network address the upload came from (used only for abuse prevention);
  • makes the Submission available to Authorised Staff through the internal console and to anyone holding the Submission Link.

9.Privacy and data protection

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy notice, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service you acknowledge that Submissions may contain personal data and that Vertali processes it as described there. If you are submitting data on behalf of another person, you confirm you are permitted to do so.

10.Retention and deletion

Submissions are retained only as long as needed to provide support, or until they are removed by Authorised Staff or by the person who submitted them. To request removal of a Submission, contact us using the details in Section 20 and include the Submission Link. We may retain records where required to prevent abuse or to comply with our legal obligations.

11.Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, software, and branding, is owned by Vertali or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service except the limited right to use it in line with these Terms. You retain any rights you have in the content of your Submissions; by submitting, you grant Vertali a limited licence to process and store that content for the purposes described in these Terms.

12.Third-party services

The Service may rely on infrastructure or services provided by third parties (for example hosting providers). Those providers process data only as needed to operate the Service. These Terms govern your relationship with Vertali; they do not create any rights against third parties.

13.Disclaimers and no warranty

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Vertali does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that Submissions will be stored without loss. You use the Service at your own risk.

14.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vertali will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to use it (which is nil, as the Service is provided without charge).

15.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vertali and its personnel from any claim, loss, or liability arising out of your use of the Service, your Submissions, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of another person.

16.Availability and modifications

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including to maintain security or prevent abuse. We are not liable for any unavailability. We may apply limits (such as upload size or request rates) to protect the Service.

17.Suspension and termination

We may suspend or block your access to the Service, or remove Submissions, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or that doing so is necessary to prevent harm or abuse. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

18.Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Where changes are significant, we will provide notice through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

19.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

20.Contact

Questions about these Terms, a Submission, or a request for removal can be directed to Vertali support. Include the relevant Submission Link so we can assist.
